We had a rainy and stormy night in Cincinnati. Thankfully, this show was
outside, but under a covered pavilion. Had it not been, it might not have
happened. It was funny walking in hearing thunder and taking our seats.
CT went on first at 730 and JJ went on second at 920pm. Both got roughly
80-85 minutes. Recording wise, everything went nearly perfect. I had no
one to my left or right and the fans behind me kept quiet for the most
part. The attendance was somewhat sparse, so that helped, as well. The
venue could not have been more than half sold. The sound could have been
better, tho! CT's set sounded a bit muddy while JJ's was much clearer. I
was practically hugging the left stack a mere 13 rows away. Could not have
had a better taping location. Joan Jett mentioned playing with a bad knee
and that if she was making faces, they werent at "us", but at the pain.
It's great to see her out there at 62 years of age with a bad knee,
persevering while still sounding amazing.

I want to make sure I send out a huge thanks to Brian for the tickets.

Co-headline with Cheap Trick. [recorded]
