Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at the Chevalier Theater, Medford, MA, April 08, 2022, incomplete audience recording.

This was recorded with Zoom H2 with internal mics, on the low mic gain setting. H2 lined into computer by USB, wav sent to Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12. Magix program was used for track markings, before and after show noise removal, and volume increase. Flac created with Trader's Little Helper, SBE and torrent work also done with TLH.

This came out nice, and I really wish I'd shown up on time. I caught 11 of the 22 songs played, and the last 4 were acoustic. I went with a friend of mine, who was kinda being drunk and talkative. Whenever he gets chatty, I hold the recorder further away from the balcony. You'll hear him, but it's fortunately not too much of a thing, besides a loud "aaarrrrgh" upon hearing that we missed "Cherry Bomb" electric from our neighbor. You'll hear him tell me how he can zoom in on the setlist with his camera. The serious saving grace of this recording, is that we were at the very far right of the front of the balcony, which is as close to the house speakers as you can get. The music is nice and clean, and sounds great. For supposedly obstructed seating, our seats might actually have been the best seats in the house. All in all, I recorded nearly 45 minutes. Better than nothing. I included a bunch of phone photos. I should mention that I've been holding out on posting this, because I believe a really nice recording of the complete show will surface. It hasn't popped up yet, so I figured I'd get this rolling while I have free time, and the show's still somewhat recent.
