Joan Jett & the Blackhearts - 2025 09 14 @ The Greek Theatre, Berkeley CA

Thought that this was a good pairing, two artists who got started in the late 70's, have punk credentials but moved more towards straight ahead rock. Really loved the graphics during Joan's set. We had a bit a of parking SNAFU getting in, but got in before the music, but Joan started exactly on time, and I wasn't setup. First few songs have some issues and had a wrong setting on my recorder, which I fixed between 'Do You Wanna Touch Me' and 'You Drive Me Wild' and unfortunately have a small cut at the beginning of 'Do You Wanna Touch Me' that I tried to blend in. Joan's set was a little on the quiet side, which makes some crowd noise a bit more noticeable, including the people right in front of me who kept yelling to each other during the set.
