Joe Cocker & The Grease Band - Sunday, June 22, 1969 - Eagles Auditorium, Seattle
> Audience tape recorded by Mike Reid (who disappeared long ago)
> This torrent from 2nd to 4th generation reel (see below for provenance)
> Odd tape in that the talk and/or time between each song is deleted.
> No processing of any kind by me. SBE's checked ok. Did not edit dead spots or recorder stop noise clicks, which might be useful to a researcher.

There may well be a more complete version out there (see below). Track lists are same as those currently on etree, although no mention is made of the end cut on track 8.
*** There are no officially released versions of any part of this performance ***
6-22-69 Supplemental information:
> The between song edits are smooth fadeouts/fadeins, and little, if any, music is lost. Too smooth to have been done while recording the concert.
> Mike Reid sold these reels in the Seattle area 69-70. I suspect he did the edits at home (to a first gen "sales" copy). That would then be copied and mailed out, in which case all copies available WILL ALL BE THE SAME. If he edited the "mail" copy direct from his first gen each time he sold one, then each version available WILL ALL BE DIFFERENT. Depending on this, he could have sold 1st or 2nd gen copies. If the second case is true, then more complete versions (or pieces) exist. I know of no other tapes he sold that are edited in any way. So far as I know, this is unique to this show for some reason.
> The older brother of a college friend of mine, bought his reel from Mike in 69 or 70. My reel might be from my friends copy, or directly from his older brothers copy. That gives me a generational range of 2nd to 4th generation for this torrent.
