EXCELLENT SOUND>CDR>EAC>FLAC

NO SETLIST

Apparently, the venue is The Cabooze. I found a reference to this as a 1978-09-xx show, but there was even less info there, so highly unreliable is too kind. But, Ponty Bone's journal mentions playing The Cabooze, Minneapolis, MN, from March 6-8, 1978.
The sound is excellent. As is the playing. I received this from a popular bitttorrent site called Dimeadozen in early 2006. That's as close to lineage as I have discovered.
Did research, renamed everything, added info, added setlist, added fingerprint file, added this info file, late 2006. I didn't touch the music. If you rename a copy of your fileset, you should be able to help seed.
This is the earliest Joe Ely fileset I've seen. There is no proof that it's really from 1978, though.

Frank notes that while a couple of these songs did appear on the Live Shots compilation, the Live Shots compilation is described as "Captures the Ely Band live while touring with The Clash." The appearance at The Caboose on March 6-8, 1978, as entered in the list of live gigs on the Ely website (www.ely.com) is not related to Ely's work with the Clash a little later.
