JOE JACKSON - De Doelen, Rotterdam, October 4 2010

This is my recording of Joe Jackson's show at De Doelen in Rotterdam from his 2010 European tour. Joe sounded a little nervous as some piano intros were a bit hesitant and he forgot the lyrics to "Stranger Than Fiction". But as you'll hear on this recording the audience didn't care and gave him several standing ovations anyway. Also, his longtime rhythm section of Graham Maby and Dave Houghton was in fine form.

Unfortunately this recording is incomplete. I had forgotten to delete the file of my previous recording so the recorder's SD card was full somewhere in the first chorus of "Is She Really Going Out With Him?", that's why the recording fades out and ends there. It's very sad not to have the complete show, but at least all of the show's highlights were captured. A killer "Citizen Sane" (the best I've ever heard), the rarely performed "Tomorrow's World" and "Still Alive" and covers of David Bowie's "Life On Mars?" and Burt Bacharach's "Anyone Who Had A Heart".
