Sharp mini disk recorder MD-MT290H(S) with stereo Sony electret condenser mic ECM-MS907

Transfered to a Macbook using Digital Performer 5 software.
Transfered to Apple G5 and edited using Digital Performer 5.
Applied dynamics (compression/limiting) using Universal Audio's UAD DSP card with Precision Limiter plugin and PSP Audioware's Vintage Warmer plugin.

Files copied to HD using Exact Audio Copy v0.99 prebeta > minor edits made with Sound Forge v4.5c > checksum, flac encoding and torrent creation accomplished using Traders Little Helper v2.4.1

Notes from Ian:

"Security wasn't that stringent but South African bootlegs are basically non-existent and probably would not be tolerated by security had they been noticed. A friend of mine actually recorded the shows as the device belonged to him.... The recordings on both nights were incomplete. My friend was too nervous to change discs during the shows, fearing this action may have resulted in confiscation by security. The shows were great and the sound very good. Apparently it was the first time the venue was used for a band (previously it had always been used for theatre productions).

"Since the recordings of the shows were incomplete, Liesl & I thought it best to release the shows together as a double cd. We designed the artwork which includes a front and back cover as well as an inlay for the project.... These were made to fit a double slimline cd box with flip tray."
