Show Notes:
I don't remember a whole lot about this show (or the one the next night, also taped). My primary purpose for heading to the Bay Area was to record 3 Tesla shows, but when I found out Satch was doing 2 nights at The Fillmore right before that, I had to extend the trip. I *thought* the 2nd night got recorded in during my big transfer push last Spring, but it was only the first 90 minutes on the drive when I went to splice, so I will have to redo that show come Spring.

Truly amazing sound for a stealth recording, this one (or the 2nd night) would most likely make my "top 50 masters" list as well. Incredible amounts of nuance and texture, even more so with headphones. If you're a Satriani fan, you *will* want this in your collection. It truly is a gem.

Running out of superlatives for the incredible indelible Dennis. I send him all this shit and he somehow wades his way thru it. As long as you peeps keep snaggin' the shows and thanking us on occasion, while I can't speak for 'he', it's good enough for me. As always, more to come....

Mastering Notes:
Tape flip during the applause after "If" - applause faded out.
Tape flip at the end of "Memories" - seamlessly spliced.
The recorder was stopped and restarted during "Encore Break #1" - seamlessly spliced.
