Comments:

This is a guitar clinic session with Joe performing a couple songs plus talking about his craft.
He was supposed to also take questions from us fans but unfortunately the store manager used
up all the remaining time himself!! Either that or they simply FORGOT to take our questions.
Regardless it was pretty cool seeing Joe in such a small place, playing a couple songs
accompanied by his own programming gadgets and having him talk about whatever was on his mind.

As far as I know Joe is "unofficially" cool with fans taping/sharing his stuff so I was very
surprised by the overtly anti-recording vibes. There was mucho security and both signs and an
announcement told us in no uncertain terms that anyone caught recording either audio or video
would be ejected, have gear confiscated, arrested, flogged, and burned at the stake or something.

Because of the security issues I left my mics under my shirt which unfortunately gives this
recording a slightly muffled sound. Also, I missed the very beginning of the show (introductions)
because the last show I taped was via a soundboard hookup and I forgot to reset the selection
switch back to its usual "mic" setting. I was silently panicking trying to figure out why I was
getting no levels and unable to actually look things over - finally after blindly plugging/unplugging my
mics thinking maybe the connection was bad, or that I had them in the wrong jack, I realized that
at that point all eyes were on Joe, not me, so I just took my deck out and looked at it!!! Then
I spotted the problem - JUST IN TIME as right then Joe started playing the first song!!!!!!

This is my first upload to Dime and I hope other Satch fans dig it. Hopefully more to come.

I've only ever given this to 3 other people so this may be a rare one for your collection, not
sure how far this one has travelled in trading circles.
