Thank you Slipkid for this show and artwork! He wrote:

this show is a major treat for fans of joe in the 70s (like me!)...it has a
great setlist with 6 james gang songs and some classic joe from up to the SO
WHAT album (i think this is the tour for SO WHAT), and pretty nice sound
quality for an audience tape from the '70s

the arrangements of the JG songs are slightly different from what i usually
hear which makes this even more innaresting

about the only negative thing i can say about this show is that he plays
"GET BACK" by the beatles (which is a totally lame song IMO) instead of
hitting us with his another of his own great songs, and also that my tape of
this cuts off after the crowd has been screaming for another encore for like
5 minutes and joe comes back on and says "NOW WE'RE GONNA PLAY THE BLUES -
IN G!!!"...then.....the end! (dammit)

something that i found really funny was that joe does a short acoustic
segment of GARDEN GATE and MIDNIGHT MAN, and right before he starts MIDNIGHT
MAN somebody in the crowd yells "OUTTA SIGHT" real loud!!! so that pretty
much dates this show from a bygone era, i mean how many shows have you been
to lately where someone is yelling "OUTTA SIGHT"!!?!?!?! the de facto
concert yell these dayz is usually "WOOO WHOOO!!!"

so when i made the CDR artwork for this one i put "OUTTA SIGHT" on the front
cover as an inside joke

hey, i have a request of anybody that goes to some gang shows this year - if
you feel like yelling, yell "OUTTA SIGHT", not "WOOO WHOOO"! maybe we can
find you on tape later.
