This has been rebroadcast a few times with the same songs re-arranged.
There was a Pre-FM "Westwood One" pressed on a 3 LP set, that included commercals and promos.
That was aired on August 11, 1984. Hence, some tapes are attributed to 1984.
What I have here is an FM broadcast without the commercals and promos.
Walsh let's his backup singer take a lead vocal on the opening number, a cover of The Impressions "People Get Ready."
Just before Joe starts into "Life's Been Good", he briefly talks about running for President again. Joe says:
"About how'd you like free money for everybody, vote for me".
"How'd you like to be safe in a 747, vote for me".
"And I thought maybe we'd might change the National Anthem".
Towwards the end of Rocky Mt. Way Joe plays part of Bob Dylan's 'Rainy Day Woman'.
Thanks to BR for supplying the tape.
