My second outing with my Church Audio CAFS, and boy what a nice job they do. At soundcheck
they rehearsed a couple tunes from Joe's upcoming album, and he seemed to imply that
it was the first time they'd played them. The house mix could have and should have been louder,
though they did turn it up a bit as the show progressed. It was a rowdy Halloween crowd, with
people shouting and talking, including some chatty people to my left which you'll hear from time
to time. The talkers are more prominent when listening with headphones, and not so much through
speakers. The mix was good and the recording turned out very clean and seamless, though for the
record I did chop out a few seconds right before 'Funk #49' when someone was speaking directly to me.
I doubt you'll notice. After 'In the City', a roadie came out dressed in a chicken suit, if you're
wondering what's going on at that moment.
