John Fogerty, Sportpaleis, Antwerp, Belgium 2006.07.01 (warm up for the Antwerp concert on the 8th!)

I got this recording shortly after the concert and I do not know for sure who made this recording (too many years ago, sorry!)
Possibly a guy who called himself "the arena taper" but it might have been somebody else. It's too long ago, I really cannot recall.
Who ever it was, he did a great job.
I do not know what equipment the taper used, but he recorded it in WAV, that's for sure.
I transferred my CD's from WAV to FLAC for this upload on Dimeadozen in order to share it with you.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
I know that Fogerty concerts of this European tour have been and will be "taped" (There is a very good recording of the Manchester concert)
I noticed:
*John Fogerty no longer seems to use NugsNet (most recent concert shared there was Windsor, ON on September 16, 2022)
* There is nothing on his website that indicates anything else.
Therefore I checked with the mods and they told me it is OK to upload Fogerty concerts performed after September 16, 2022 here on Dime
Should Fogerty start using NugsNet again, then off course Dime will no longer allow new concerts and ban torrents of concert that are available on NugsNet.

Some personal notes:
My wife and I went to this concert with our good friends Luciano and Marisa. We had a wonderful day in the city of Antwerp
We were sitting in front ( I think row 3 or 4) in the middle of the stage.
Luciano smuggled his videorecorder into the venue, but that thing was too big to use unnoticed, so pretty soon he got warned and stashed the camera away.
But in no time that videorecorder was in use again. This time the warning was a little more urgent. The security guy told him he would take away the camera if Luc would use it again.
Luc replied he would not use it anymore. So he stashed the camera in a bag again, only to take it out again after a few minutes.
But he was caught again and had to hand off the camera in order to put it in a locker.
The security man (just like Luciano he had Italian roots) asked Luciano why he had taken out the camera out for the third time, after promising not to do so.
Luciano replied: "You are Italian, just like me. So you understand I answer with with my head, but act from my heart."

The concert itself was very good, and the setlist contained Porterville. A song he hasn't done very much as far as I know (And maybe this was the only time he did that song)
The setlist was much longer then the setlists of Fogerty's present European tour. I think his age makes his setlist shorter, and I cannot blame him for that.
It is remarkable to perform so intensly as his age.

Finally: Fogerty does "Effigy" on this tour, but he also has done "Fight fire" a few times
It would be perfect if that Golliwogs song was included in the setlist on June 8th....
