John Lee HOOKER Paris, theātre de l'Empire, 1979 otober 5, aud and TV SM masters, FLAC

In the end of the 70's, A2 french channel was recording live music at le theātre de l'Empire in Paris for the "Chorus" TV show.

On each saturday afternoon, i used to go there carrying a recorder machine (no security problems) to see two groups and tape them from the balcony, beeing not disturbed by cameras moving and enjoying splendid seats.

I used 3 Sony machines in my early recording days : TC 150, TCD5 M and the one i used that day, the bigger : i don't have it anymore and i don't remember what TC model it was, sorry for the lineage precision.

The mics used were the first correct couple i had : cardioid condenser Phonia UMC70.

On 1979 oct 5th, i taped a John Lee Hooker 55 mns set ; the recording is OK for 1979.

This torrent features the complete show as an audience recording and also 4 tunes broadcasted on TV a few days later (recorded on a Akai reel machine using the line out of my TV - phone plug - to connect the recorder).
