John Lennon The Lost Tapes - 'For The Record' KMET Radio Special 1971 St. Regis Interview

This is a 1984 KMET-FM LA radio special hosted by Peter McCabe containing recorded portions of the interview he and partner Robert D. Schonfeld had with Lennon at the St. Regis Hotel in NYC August of 1971. This special coincided with the release of the McCabe & Schonfeld book "John Lennon: For The Record" published by Bantam Books. This recording is a tape of the first airing of the radio special. There are edits of songs, but station IDs are intact.
The interview had originally been recorded in September of 1971.
