::: EXC FM broadcast. Check samples for acquisition analysis or a few flutters afore full bytedom.
::: Warts: Almost none left. Repaired dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few. #1 starts some seconds late.
::: Note: Improves with a bit more treble & slight bass reduction, but 'tis easily fixed with knob twiddlin'.
::: Norwegian NRK FM Radio broadcast, after the fact, in 2 parts (#1-5 pt.1 & #6-9 pt.2).
::: Live on the "Sapphire" album northern Europe tour.
::: #1 mistakenly noted by DJ as a medley, unless a segue from a (missing) song (unlikely). All lyrics present.
::: Unclear if complete show or possibly missing 2-3 songs.
::: 1985 was the final year of Club 7, a centre for counterculture in Norway in the 60s&70s according to Wikipedia.

Recording Information ::: NRK radio broadcast -> unknown receiver -> Akai (model #?) cassette recorder -> off-air master BASF C90 Chromdioxid Super II cassette, Dolby off.

Playback 2015 ::: master BASF C90 Chromdioxid Super II cassette -> Sony Professional (D6?) Walkman, Dolby off -> Harman Kardon HK3380 receiver -> Edirol R-05 -> 96/24 wavs.

Playback 2016-01-xx ::: 96/24 wavs -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, reception static, dropout & dullspot repairs, Clip Fix applied to a few very slightly oversaturated clipped segments, volume adjustments, part 1 +1.8% & part 2 +2.6% pitch (speed) fixes with single pass per segment after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation, dithered down to 44.1 kHz] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. Presumably stereo FM but the concert tape is mono. First uploaded week of 2016-01-16.

Line-up ::: John Martyn - electric guitar, guitar synthesizers, vocals // Foster Paterson - keyboards, backing vocals.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 253 ::: MANY thanks to the original taper DIMER hyarar! ::: Corrections welcome ::: I ain't really into the synth band thing so much, but overall John's in fine form, the sound is great & I can dig it - lovely show. Hope you do, too. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
