JOHN MAYALL-1971-10-22-Hollywood Palladium-Exellent Aud. from 1st Gen. reel--Superb performance!--

Friends, here´s a great addition to the John Mayall legacy in exellent quality, recorded by Harvey Kaslow & Rob Bertrando!
This is the first REAL bluesy performance with this lineup I ever found,
a missing link between his blues period & his Jazz releases!
John Mayall even plays here some slide guitar & Freddy Robinson shows how to play blues guitar in such a lineup.
In the opening section John Mayall told the crowd that this was the fourth or fifth gig of this new band
& he & his great players shows us how tight they were still connected to the John Mayall blues roots!
