This was a great night and witnessing this legend was amazing. John plays a very, very mean harp and is incredibly talented no matter what he was doing. Even at 76, John played a 2.5 hour long show that artists half his age would never attempt. His entire band is seasoned and a pure joy to listen to. Greg is like a rhythm machine and every member is a master of their own musical domain. I loved the rich keyboard sounds, the amazing guitar tones and the precise tight drumming.

After the show was over and we had left, my partner in recording crime and I managed to sneak back in through the back door, get through security using the same Jedi mind-tricks I use to get my rig in and meet John. He knew exactly what was going on and wasn't particularly pleased to see us but was a gentleman enough to sign an old Bluesbreakers LP & take a few pics. Thanks for that John!

As always, a great time was had by all. I hope this recording is as enjoyable to you as it was for me to make it.

Things to listen for:
I had a cold that night so occasionally you'll hear me clear my throat in between songs.
One of John's mics died during the first set of his performance but was relatively quickly replaced.
I captured the sound of the flash of my camera popping open a few times.
You can hear me shushing some people a few times.

Fight the Loudness War! No compression was used in the post-processing of this recording to preserve it's dynamic range, listenability and authenticity.
This recording will naturally sound much better cranked up loud with quality headphones!
Peace & enjoy,
Seth
