Also on the bill was Koko Taylor. (I don't have her set)

On this 90 minute cassette, we get most of John Mayall's set and a good chunk of Buddy Guy's set.

Mayall's vocals are distant and low in the mix, which is a shame, because the music comes through clear enough to enjoy.

It almost sounds like the taper must be on the guitar side of the stage picking up Whittington's guitar, which over-shadows the vocals.

The real treat is getting to hear Buddy Whittington's guitar playing. This would have been a really nice recording if Mayall's voice was louder.

After the tape flip, track 9 is partially recorded with just the last 90 seconds of the song

I'm stumped on a couple song titles. Does anyone know the titles for tracks 7 and 9 ?

Buddy Guy's portion sounds more evenly balanced, You can hear Buddy's vocals much easier,

The tape ends with track 15 cutting off after 2:47.

Overall, I think this is a good recording worth having.

Check samples for quality.
