I saw Mellencamp in 2008 on free tickets so I figured I'd go record him again. I thought I was running short on time, and got all set up just as the clock struck 20:00. Then realized there would be 30 minutes of films shown before the concert actually began, putting the audience to sleep. Once the movie portion was over, sirens went off. Wake up call...

I appreciate John telling the audience to STFU during the acoustic portion of the show and taunting the loud mouths.

This was the first of two nights that he played at The Orpheum. I would go record him again the second night, too.
