Show Notes: John Prine's first Australian tour in 25 years was well worth the wait and was greeted by a very enthuastic crowd. Tyler Childers (the support for this leg of the tour) joined for 2 songs, and Alejandro Escovedo joined in on backing vocals for the finale (Alejandro is out here on his own tour). A fantastic show lasting over 2 hours, I'm hoping John lives up to his promise and returns again before too long!

Recording Notes: For the most part sounds excellent, though you'll hear some interesting chatter at times which warrants explanation. I think a lot of people had come down from the hills for this show, there was a lot of disrespectful people in the crowd, the worst being some old white haired guy 2 rows in front of me who for some reason thought the guys behind him were whistling and yelling in his ear (they weren't). He was far more rude and disrepctful than whatever he thought they were doing. He can be heard after Hello In There (along with the women in front of me telling him to shut up, oh joy). After he carried on again after the next song, a guy from the other side of the aisle then threatened to take him outside and beat him up! This still didn't really deter the guy, and eventually security came down and settled it down, and after presumably being threatened with ejection, he was quiet for the rest of the show. There was also a squeaky chair behind me which is a little annoying, but it doesn't happen too frequently. Anyway despite the few individuals in the crowd who should really know better, this is a great recording. Enjoy!
