Master AUD recording

**mp3 samples provided (as always) in the Comments section**

If you like smooth electric blues with nice harp playing and soulful vocals, then you need to check this out. Johnny Charles has shared the bill with blues legends such as B.B. King, Roy Buchanan, Jimmie Vaughn, Anson Funderburgh, Roomful Of Blues, John Mayall, Johnny Copeland, Dr. John, Hubert Sumlin and Ronnie Earl. And Nasty Ned, who once fronted Nasty Ned and the Famous Chili Dogs, is also a long-time blues heavyweight from New Jersey.

My thanks to Johnny and Ned for allowing me to record this show. Unfortunately, since I was coming from another show earlier in the evening, I only was able to catch the last 2 1/2 songs of their middle set and the entire final set. However, what's here is absolutely a terrific listen.

Setlist:
01. Chain Of Fools (joined in progress) (Aretha Franklin, written by Don Covay)
02. Smokestack Lightning (Howlin' Wolf)
03. I Wish (Stevie Wonder)
04. Drown In My Own Tears (Ray Charles)
05. I Just Want To Make Love To You (Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon)
06. Blues improv in "A"
07. Hoochie Coochie Man (Muddy Waters, written by Willie Dixon)
08. You Said That You Loved Me
09. Surf Monkey
10. You Move Me

Approx. running time: 58 minutes

Lineage:
Zoom H2 (90 degree mic pattern) > WAV (onto SD card) > Nero wave editor (trim & fade end tracks, boost volume) > FLAC Frontend (sb-aligned) > FLAC

If you like this torrent, won't you please take a moment to post a comment on the board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.
