Volume 10 in the series finds Johnny Thunders up in Boston where he had spent a lot of time over the previous year. The Daughters were Boston based and a couple of his shows from earlier in the year made it to the semi-official In Cold Blood double lp. To be clear: This is not either of those performances. They were at Jonathan Swift's in Cambridge - Johnny name-checks the place basically saying he'd rather be playing there. They were also earlier in the year.

This is a rare gig w/o a second guitarist - just a 3-piece. And JT steps up to the plate with some excellent guitar playing and (as always) hilarious banter. On the last track he asks the bouncer if he is in the band. "You're taking up more room than all three of us" Bottom line - I really enjoyed the guitar playing on this gig. Like all shows in the archive this is either never circulated or a dramatic upgrade. This is a fresh burn from the master cassette. It sounds really good.
