Johnny Winter: Denver Pop Festival-June 28,1969-First Gen Tape

First Gen tape>cd-r>Bias Peak Pro 5 (song indexing)>XACT>flac

Johnny Winter with Tommy Shannon on bass and Uncle John Turner on drums.

This heat wave shows no sign of letting up, so let's keep the music hot too, with some more vintage Johnny Winter. This is his performance at the Denver Pop Festival in 1969 and the quality is a nice VG+. It's also a rare show in that he previews "Memory Pain" from the Second Winter album. Thanks to the Florida Kid for the show. Hope you enjoy the tunes, song samples provided. Posted by Mesquite 8/11/06.
