Johnny Winter at Ontario Theater, Washington, DC - September 24, 1982

On 1982, the song "prodigal son" was played in many shows. It was played before only on the "And" era, back in 1970, and I've not known any other show that it was played after this tour. And another return is Bobby Torello back on drums after one year apart - Jon Paris is still on bass. All these performances are quite good and on this recording, the enthusiastic crowd deserves it, this performance matters! Also from this era only, the classic "same thing" and two more Johnny's originals - mean town blues & black cat bone. By the way, someone could understand why Johnny sttoped on "Johnny B. Goode"? See the set list bellow.

This recording comes from a Norm Howard (nocturnalnph, many thanks to him) original cassete tape (3rd generation). As always, I've used my Sansui Deck D-95M, Creative Live! 24 bits sound card and Cool Edit Pro software to transfer the analog sound to digital format.
