Johnny Winter: Back when he could still tear it up. Johnny kicks ass on tracks 5 & 7 especially! Never seen a person who plays with a 'Gibson thumbpick' do so much, so fast. Chet Atkins will be proud.
Minimal audio noise. Slight damage to tape at the end of track 5, no serious problem. The last song on tape side 1 ran out, so it is faded. Very minimal. Sorry.
Heavy bass (actually too close to bass on stage at beginning)
Clear vocals. Great show.Impossible to separate into tracks, especially between 4/5/6 & 10/11 (no clear break)Sounds great, no glitches with exception to end of track 5 as mentioned above. At the end of track 7 Johnny announces 'got time for one more here'. Comment heard from audience prior to beginning of Johnny B. Goode, 'one more my ass'. Kinda funny! We thought he was finished after Johnny B. Goode, but received another 12 minutes. Probably one of the best performances ever seen by 'Winter fans' in a 'club setting. All of the '87 sets were marvelously performed, club or stage for that matter. Enjoy

PERSONAL COMMENT:
WITHOUT A DOUBT, ONE OF THE FINEST LIVE INDIVIDUAL TAPINGS OF ANY SHOW PERFORMED BY JOHNNY WINTER, EVER. THIS WAS 1987, WHICH I BELIEVE, WAS THE BEST TOURING YEAR JOHNNY EVER HAD.
NO WINTER COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS, THE BEST! ENJOY!!
