A Doodee Music Master Recording

"If it's a DOODEE, you know it's the SHITŪ"
- Stripeydave 2008

Johnny Winter lightin' it up fo you fine folks here. If you haven't seen him lately, Johnny's looking a bit frail. After being pointed the way, he has a little shuffle that he uses to make his way to the chair he sits in to perform. For all you SNL fans, his walk is a little Nettie Bodance like. But once he has a guitar in his hands, he becomes a different person. Basically blind from what I understand, he can still rock it. Funny moment - before the encores, the sound guy leaned over and apologized for what my tape was going to sound like. He said Johnny is a bit deaf these days and apparently he kept giving him instructions to turn his guitar up. It is truly loud and proud here but, as I see it, the one thing you DON'T want from a JW recording is too little guitar. Samples included - use the democratic process and cast your vote accordingly. Y'all enjoy.
