Gig Notes:

First time back in Glasgow for a looong time. I've been taping since 2008 and they haven't played here since then. Local band "Seconds" were supporting, though I didn't manage to tape them. The venue was pretty full, if not sold out.

A sweaty, rip-snortin' performance from the guys. There's one thing for sure, you'll never get bored at a Blues Explosion show. Full on guitar attacks, wild vocals, intense percussion, theremin madness, it's all there in spades. An incredibly danceable beat that has the Classic Grand crowdswinging, cheering, and whooping for more.

I hope it's not another 6+ years before they head back for another performance.

Recording notes and sound quality:

Recorded from the vicinity of the RH PA. Recorded at a relatively conservative volume, so a boost of +6db was required.
