THE RAW TAPES VOL. 38
---

Rec. Info:
unknown linage tape, most likely a FM boadcast (to my ears). This was a filler on a John Cale show.
Given the fine quality and the balance beween music and crowd, I defintely settle on a FM, low generation. Also, if you listen close, the segue to the last song
seems to after-produced, faded in. I'm sure one song is missing from the start, cause the original tape fades in with the last chords of the before played song.
Anyway, don't let you bother this too much, it's quite fine quality...
This cassette (TDK SA 90) -> playback on Harman Kardon CD491 -> Audio recorder -> WAV 16/44 -> Audacity (only edit, no remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC ->
DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...and epyptian drums in Vienna...

Here's a short, but very nice recording of Jonathan Richman and his last incarnation of the Modern Lovers, before he set on going solo. It's a show brought to an enthusiastic
crowd, with is captured by this FM tape very well. No station ID's as usual in the US of A in here, so this might be pulled of from austrian radio ORF. Or at least a german radio
station. "All" the big songs are in here, so I hope you'll enjoy this. SB.
