The Portland stop on Joni�s 1979 �Mingus� Tour appears to be somewhat under-circulated in the torrent era. Taking place six days prior to the released Santa Barbara show, the reviews attached below describe it as �soaring despite audience� and �marred only by a severe lack of the crowd�s self-discipline�. It was in fact a rather energetic crowd.

The tape is good to very good from an unknown generation, hiss is not an issue though and really the only drawbacks are from the taper�s location, not idea but not a major hindrance, and the limitations of the gear. The tape did run slow and required a +20 cents pitch adjustment. I removed numerous instances of semi rowdy crowd noise, 90% between songs, and overall I am pleased with the final product after mastering considering the raw transfer.
