aud-rec of unknown source and lineage (sounds like low generation)
received raw wav files (a file per cassette side) thru filesharing from mauro r

hanwaker mastering 2021-07

well the raw file had a lot to repair..
-took out some hundreds of bumps and dull spots ( most occured at start and end .. which might indicate the master or copy has had some severe tape damage or wrinkles??)
-fixed the very uneven volume levels
-corrected channel volume
-lowered applause & killed some near hand-clappers
-fixed some transitions in the first half*

all of above took me some 5+ hours therefore if you come across the raw file
just forget it .. this here is a rather splendid repair job
if a straight copy with known lineage ever appears i wonder about all the hick-ups i fixed
maybe they are a result of 1 or 2 copies done wrong wayback in the 80s

*during the first half of the show most of the in between banter is cut out
those cuts appear to have been happening while the master-recording was done
otherwise the 46.37 mins cut inRoR would not indicate the end of one side of a C-90 cassette
in many cases the cuts were very nicely done .. i smoothed only a few
an explanation for the missing start of (You're So Square) Baby, I Don't Care and the cut end of robbery is the tape flip
if this runs at wrong speed i guess we will see a corrected version someday done by the SPEED KING
a funny note>
-taper (or friend) recognizes chinese cafe immediately
