A few songs weren't recorded, namely "This Is The Sound", "For The Birds", "Feelin' Massachusetts",
"Little Pieces", and "What A Life" (the video misidentified 'Dumb Fun' as this track), so these
are exclusively from my recording.

The still absolutely talented and gorgeous Juliana Hatfield Three played their breakthrough
indie classic 'Become What You Are' along with some other assorted and recent cuts at The Chapel.

Decided to give yet another new piece of kit a try for this one, since I didn't want to
look like I was wearing a while when taking my wife out to dinner and then this show.

This time, she didn't complain about my setup or that taping was illegal. I think she was
intrigued that an iPhone with a microphone could work, though to be honest, I probably should
have just used the Sonics, since I had to hold my iPhone the whole time, which I did upside-down,
with the mics facing me, so as not to attract undue attention. And it turns out you can adjust
their directionality by turning them, so may have had it pointed downwards. Needed some serious
re-EQ, but sounds pretty decent all things considered. I was also side-stage, probably not the
most ideal place to record, but we could lean against the wall and enjoy an unobstructed view.

I also got lucky I used the opening act to soundcheck, because otherwise my recording would
have been static-filled junk (had to reset the 4 to resolve the issue). That's why there's only
one full track and a couple of fragments of the opening act... Well, the real reason is I wasn't
sure what kind of battery life I would get, looks like it only used up about 20% battery for
75 minutes, quite decent.

There's a white version of the iM2 for $10 on Amazon or black for $20. If you have an old iPhone
and want to get in the recording game, it doesn't get much cheaper than this! Also good if you want
to video and don't want standard overloaded smartphone audio.
