recorded by X, mastered to cdr by Easy Ed.

I (Easy Ed) did not record this show. Twenty three years after the show, I can't remember exactly what happened, but either I borrowed the master cassettes from X, who recorded the show, and made a cassette copy for myself, or the person who recorded the show made a cassette copy for me. So this is from the 1st generation cassette copy. I (Easy Ed) mastered the show to cdr. Kinda incomplete and cut up, but if you like Junior Walker, at least it's a clear soundboard recording.

The venue for this show was The Cotati Cabaret in Cotati, CA. It was a small club that held about 300 people. Cotati is a small town located about an hour north of San Francisco. This recording was made without the knowledge or consent of Junior Walker or of the management of The Cotati Cabaret.

Cotati is next to Sonoma State University, which was called Granola State University back in the hippie days. SSU is where the great recording of Old & In The Way with Ramblin' Jack Elliott opening was made. There is a great poster of the O&ITW show, my copy of which is long gone :<
