Junkyard Jane is an early third millennium Southeast "swampabilly" and Northwest blues band which consists of vocalist Leanne Trevalyan, guitarist Billy Stoops, bassist Alex Featherstone, drummer Tom Sunderland.
Junkyard Jane's beginnings can be traced to 1995, with Leanne Trevalyan's song "The Life of a Vampire," which was included on the band's acclaimed first CD, "Washboard Highway," in 1998. The album was named one of the top ten blues cd's of 2000 by Steattle/Tacoma NPR affiliate, KPLU. Junkyard Jane won the Washington Blues Society's Best Band Award that year, and represented the Cascade Blues Association at the International Blues Competition in Memphis.
