Notes:

I was originally supposed to be out of town this weekend, so I initially did not
think I would make this show. Plans changed and when my friend brought it up to
me, I could not - NOT get a ticket. I've never seen The Moody Blues (or Justin),
but I've had plenty of chances over the years. Since they are no longer active,
that will always be a huge regret. However, I was able to catch Justin perform a
wonderful stripped down set (no drums) & it made a great consolation. For a man
who is 77, he still sounds great! He performed mostly songs from The Moody Blues
catalog, but did feature 3 of his solo songs, as well. "Forever Autumn" was no
doubt one of the highlights of the entire set for me. Recording wise, everything
went fairly well. I had respectful neighbors and given how quiet this show was
(you could hear every nearby cough), it turned out very well. I did have a very
large man behind me whistle between most songs, but those were easily removable
with iZotope RX7 in post. The applause did peak higher than the music, so I hard
limited most of the clapping while raising the music portions. Most of Justin's
speaking sections were raised, as well.
