This was recorded with Zoom H2 with internal mics, on the low mic gain setting. H2 lined into computer by USB, wav sent to Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12. Magix program was used for track markings, volume increase, and after set noise removal. Flac created with Trader's Little Helper, SBE and torrent work also done with TLH.

This came out pretty nice. It also came out pretty quiet. You will need to turn it up, and the crowd will be loud, but it's really quite acceptable. The way the venue is set up, what would normally be a GA floor had twelve tables. Behind that, was the large GA floor, and I recorded from the front of that. My immediate neighbors were considerate for the most part. The only real issue is that I hit the bar right after track 15, when she starts chatting. Her chat is still quite audible, and I return to my spot in a short time, while she's still talking. She spent a lot of time talking to the audience and telling stories and explaining song origins. There were a couple of little kids in the crowd, and she spent a bit of time talking with them. It worked - it was fun, and the kids were good kids, polite and not annoying. I had a great time - she had me get her soda and bitters from the bar, and sold me a bridge. I included a few photos, but it was hard to get decent shots, with the lights doing their magic. Some of them are nice.
