It's a Spacebandit, so you're in there!

Rec. Info:
OKM2Rmics -> Zoom H2n (at WAV 16/44) -> SDcard -> HD -> Audacity (edit/remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...
Taped by yours truly front row exactly dead center, sometimes only about 50 centimeters from the guitarstrings...Overall indoor system sound wasn't too good as the location was very
small and the roof ceiling at HotJazzClub is only about 2.20 meters high, which created a quite bass boomy sound. I've fixed that just a tiny little bit by increasing the higher ends.
Almost no real disturbing chatters audible, but sometimes a nervekilling "whistler" could not be buried in the mix/or edited out...Finally I would say, that the recording is very fine
and deserves a "Spacebandit" quality level.

Third time I've seen/experienced this great heavy bluesrock band from Sweden in the last two years. While their last show at HotJazzClub in Muenster did not draw that many people, it
seemed that the rumours spread round, cause when I entered the room about 45 min. before showtime, it was already packed. Luckily I decided straight to stay at the front row, as otherwise
no real good tape would've come out. This was the last show of their 2 week tour of central Europe, and the band was in a very good mood, as you can hear! Maybe they played one or two songs
more than on the other dates of the tour as well... But what about the music? In contrast to my last KAMCHATKA show in October 2012, the setlist changed almost completely. Only about four
songs remained, and somehow their sound changed a bit away from the psychedelic heavy bluesjammin' towards more structured songs with a (for my rotten ears) strong SRV influence. Though
there might be some shorter songs at this performance, there are a lot of extended guitarsolo-orgys as well...oh, no...mostly all the time. The small but roompacking crowd of about maybe
100-150 was going nuts from the first notes on! But did I tell you that the club earned its name for me at least that night? HOT Jazz Club...soaking, swampy, steaming...
You might join in the fun, so that all the sweat poured out wasn't useless body fluids...Rock on! SB.
