Very good to excellent sound (some EQ). Audience noise calmed down between songs.



Here is the 2nd part of the double bill with Exit Out even if I can't remember who started.
The music of Kastrierte Philosophen is hard to categorize. It spans from psychedelia to elegies and hardrock. You can hear even some influence from Can.
In later years they had even hip-hop and dub elements in their songs. Depending on who has the lead vocals there is either a heavier rock or psychedelic note (Matthias Arfmann)
or a Nico and/or Amon D��l (Katrin Achinger) influenced mood.
The band's name is quite strange (even for a German) and has no connections to their music.
It's interesting that John Peel seemed to love the band as he played them frequently in his radio show back in the eightees even if he had massive problems
to pronounce the name.
This time I attached 2 samples to show the variety.
