KEITH RICHARDS
and The X-Pensive Winos
The 1988 US shows
24th November – 17th December 1988
This is a series dedicated to Keith Richards’ shows with The X-pensive Winos in the US in 1988.
A big thank you to all the people who recorded these shows and who shared them and to my two accomplices nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave me the benefit of their versions of these shows and their advice and support ... and therefore without whom this project would not have been possible.

Our versions were identical. Mine is called ‘Electrical Connection’ (no label).
I reduced the treble a little and added a little more bass. I equilibrated the channels (from +5 to + 15% for the right channel) and I deleted a microgap between the tracks.
I reworked the transitions between the tracks that now start with the song.
On ‘Take It So Hard’, at 1’19, I patched the disappearing of the left channel by using a 3 seconds patch from the duplicated right channel.
The band introduction was missing on the audio version but was luckily present on the video. I used the band intro part of the video to complete this recording (after reworking it): now the show is complete!
Note a fade in/out between ‘Happy’ and ‘Connection’ (encore break).
As usual all the infos are taken from The Rolling Stones Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf: http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/tcw/works1.htm
