For Release 13 in our series we stay in the summer of 1978 with another high-energy performance at McFarlin Auditorium in Dallas, TX on the campus of Southern Methodist University.

McFarlin Auditorium opened in 1926 and is still active today, I had begun my musical journey by the time this show came around but at 15 years old I was only allowed to attend shows my older brother ushered at and sadly he did not work this show (I did see a very inebriated Jerry Jeff Walker at this venue about 3 weeks later).

Blondie was the opening act.

As with many releases in this series, this particular show appears to have been less circulated during the torrent era.

Special thanks to Goody for providing invaluable, ongoing pitch guidance. A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to the long-time collector, who, instead of discarding decades of treasures, generously preserved them for posterity.
