‘Phantom’ Notes-
Terrible gym but [the show] was fucking awesome. Love the Kinks. Almost got arrested on the way home. Lost. Pulled into an Army Depot to turn around. Out comes an MP with a gun. I got a car full of shit-faced people and I'm holding a gin and tonic in a traveler. Barely escaped!

OldNeumanntapr Notes-
The DAT master of this show was recently unearthed by my long time taping / trading partner and I promised him that I would get the tape transferred and have it polished up in post production. Fortunately Flying M was able to work his magic on it by cleaning up the sound in Har-bal and removing extraneous clapping. I don’t know what he was referring to about a ‘tape flip’ that he had to patch, as this recording was on a 120 minute DAT, and there was no flips. But, since I didn’t record it I can’t be certain what was going on on the tape. Anybody’s best guess as to where the disc break should be, those of you who still use CDs. As my friend Roy in Chicago says, ‘Salt & Pepper To Taste’.

Flying M Notes-
This was a good "clap along" show and so I spent quite a bit of time reducing the clapping.
Equalized with Har-Bal using the Harmonic Balancing technique which increased the clairity.
A slight amount of compression brought out the zing in the cymbals and added a little extra power.
Had an awful DC offset which was corrected.
Good performance and the sound should be a little nicer now.
