Last year Kinky Friesman had a show at the Paradiso. That show is still on the tracker:

It was his first show in the Netherlands after a long time abstence,so it was a surprise he returned this soon.
The show was more or less the same as last year. This time Kinky read a passage from his latest book
"Heroes of a Texas Childhood" and talked about his upcoming campaign as governor for Texas.

Before you download this show, please read this:

I went through a whole lot of work to make this recording available for download. I didn't do this to bloat my ego, but to preserve the music and
give the artist more attention. I did this of my own free will and I did it gladly, so I'm not complaining how much time, money etc. it took me.

You get it all for free. In return I only ask one thing: DO NOT SHARE IN MP3. I'm not talking about making MP3's for you own use, e.g. for playback on
your iPod or to squeeze as many files as possible on a CDR for your car. That's perfectly fine, no I'm talking about uploading this show in MP3 on another site or pass on the
MP3-files to other people. Sooner or later somebody re-converts them to wave, thinking they are the same as the original files and shares them in good faith on a tracker
for lossless music, thus polluting the pool for lossless music. The Mods ban these shows many times a day (if somebody discovers the lossy ancestry).

I can't prevent it, once it's out in the open, it's free, and in most cases I don't know who started it. However I know a DIME-member who doesn't reveal his identity,
who shares shows he got here as MP3 on his own site (you know who you are), ALSO WHEN THE TAPER ASKS NOT TO DO SO. I've had a discussion with him about this, but he wrote
he will continue to share in MP3.

That's plain disrespectful and it's biting the hand that feeds you.
I could withhold my recordings, as many tapers do, but that's not why I record. Besides, I would also withhold it from members who do respect my wishes and I like to believe that's the majority.
So I'll ask again (and will continue to ask) NOT TO SHARE THIS SHOW IN MP3.It's not hard to respect this wish.
I will check that site to see if this recordings shows up there and if it does I will protest (again) so at least his visitors know he went against my wishes.
