Big thanks to the taper, and to the trader (dont remember who) who hooked me up with a copy.

Almost straight up share, came to me with this general track mark breakdown, w/ fades between each.
But the ones they made had a few seconds of the next song, on the end of the track before.
I simply shifted them all back a bit, SBE-fixed, & then FLAC'ed 'em up for sharing.

I've included the EAC log for my extract, but it's not gonna line up with these.
It's presented here more to demonstract a clean extract.

NOTES

It's stereo, but it's a bit muddy at times.
And there's some clipping in spots which I did not try to remedy.
Still, it's a good listen.

DATE

This came to me simply labeled 'The Ritz NY 1981'.
Of course, this got me on a hunt to find what date it is from.

I've seen a bunch of references on the internet, to a 1981-08-03 date at the Ritz.
(I don't have the 1981-08-03 show, so I can't do any audio comparisons.)
But the existing setlist for 1981-08-03 does NOT match this set.
It's not a matter of 'same tracks but different order'.
There's songs on each, that are not present on the other.

The NY Times says they 'appeared Monday and Tuesday' at the Ritz.
Using a PC's calendar & looking back to August 1981, it shows Mon/Tue were on the 3rd & 4th.

Based on the calendar, & that this isn't the 1981-08-03 show, this s/b the 1981-08-04 one.

While doing the digging, came upon a photo from these dates, & I've included it here.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
