--- Info ---

So far hardly uncirculated, this recording was made on the first concert out of a three-night stand at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo. This is said to be the real September 7th recording instead of the so famous NHK radio broadcast that made its way into a wide circulation through many silver bootlegs, which is actually from the September 8th gig. This recording was shared by a Japanese fellow trader who firstly saw a 3CD-R set for sale on a mail-order webshop, featuring this and the FM recording and also stating that both gigs were respectively from September 7th and 8th. He and two other fellow collectors, intrigued, went on to analyse if this audience recording was really from the September 7th through their recollections of the concerts as all of them attended to the three Tokyo concerts in 1981. They concluded that the information on the mail-order website was right and that this is the real September 7th concert recording, the very first Kraftwerk performance in Japan. This Japanese fellow even endorsed that they played all the songs - especially Dentaku - in a way that he had never heard before (he in particular didn't attend all the three concerts) and that the audience was very quiet on that day just like Ralf Htter quoted on an interview. Besides, this seems to be the only Tokyo concert in which Autobahn was played before Radioactivity.

The source tape for this recording is unknown, but it sounds like a very low generation tape or much likely to be even a master. Sadly some bits of the recording are missing and 'It's More Fun To Compute' seems not to be recorded - maybe the taper had some problems with his recorder - but the songs sound different in comparison to the FM recording, proving that both come from different concerts.

And to quote our friend LUCIFERBURNS:
"Once again I would like to ask those that still have such "treasures" tucked away,
to please consider sharing them the way these generous people have.
None of us are getting any younger and what good will any of your recordings be when you're DEAD!"

In other words, don't be an egoist banghole just like a bunch of "renowned" Kraftwerk collectors - safe, of course, for a few great souls - around who either get stuck with false promises or force other collectors into rather unfair trades. Some of these people are also that branch of mentally-ill hardcore Kraftwerk fans who think they own the band just because they saw them live during the Computer World tour or before and therefore deserve every front-row ticket of a sold-out concert - they seemingly don't realise they're making fool out of themselves. I particularly hope that younger generations of Kraftwerk collectors do their best to stay away from this evil tide and help establish a serious swapping/trading community.
