In February 1990, for the first time after the Computer World tour, Kraftwerk returned to the stages in a small secret tour through Italy which is also known as 'Pre-Mix Tour'
because they were testing what their then new mixes for their old songs that would released on The Mix album in the following year. However, most of the songs differs very much
from what you hear on The Mix, even because there were also lots of improvisations, other effects and many mistakes throughout some songs.
The Genova concert is the last of these four nights. This recording is the one which sounds worst out of the four nights and would be likely to be
much more appreciated by die-hard collectors, unless you can bear with the high hiss throughout the whole recording. This one seems to be originally well captured,
but these flaws obviously appeared due to analog copying and besides that, this tape was copied in a very low volume. On the other hand,
this is also the most complete recording from the 1990 tour, because it even features the pre-show sounds, which are hardly found in any Kraftwerk recording.
