-- Info --

Another nice release by Kling Klang Produkt bootleg label (maybe they had chosen this name to confuse authorities). It was founded in the late 90s and it was especially concerned in releasing Kraftwerk live recordings from that period, hence you can simply find from them all the three 1997 concerts pressed on silver CDs. For the Tribal Gathering concert, they used a widely circulated and incomplete radio-sourced recording broadcast by BBC. As for the ZKM concert, they used a very clean and crisp recording with very little audience noise and sometimes confused as a soundboard recording. For the Linz concert, this is probably the only known circulating recording and unfortunatly it doesn't sound as good as the two other 1997 concerts, but it is still very enjoyable in despite of some occasional flaws you will encounter throughout the recording.

This is also a very special concert because for the first time after Electric Cafe album, Kraftwerk presented some new songs whose real names still remain unknown nowadays. The song 'Instrumental', which was a continuation of 'Ätherwellen', was played until the 2003 concerts; the song 'Nummweltverschmutzung' was played until the 1998 concerts; and the song 'Lichthof' - which sounds a bit like 'Aéro Dynamik' - was just played during this and the ZKM concert.

Particularly, the best Kraftwerk concerts were played in the 90s, especially during The Mix tour, so please enjoy this gem.
