Notes:
Flew in for the day from Detroit for the Friday shows. First time in LA and definitely a different type of "big city" I have been to. Went to The Mix show earlier in the evening as well. You cannot beat seeing Kraftwerk twice in one night! Tour De France is in my top 3 fave albums of Kraftwerk's. "La Forme" is one of my favorite songs and it was awesome to hear it live. The concert hall was exceptional, very cool and obviously with Kraftwerk's sound system the two went hand in hand. Had some trouble with a very rude (and drunk) individual woo'ing and being obnoxious behind us during the show, but after the first 3 songs or so the guy mellowed out. Left channel suffered some clappers but thanks to BLG's advice, they were removed from the tape completely! I was amazed with the results! So big thanks BLG! Didn't use the DPA's because I thought that the omni's would be too far away to be adequate for the job. Either way, I am very happy with the tape.

It was very nice to meet all the people that I did at the show, a few tapers and others. I hope to make it out to the So-Cal area soon! Glad I could see Kraftwerk once again as they toured the states. They are always special performances. I hope you enjoy the tape.
