Notes on the show:
Having already seen the group for Autobahn & Radioactivity in Los Angeles 11 days earlier (& having messed up recording those shows royally) it was game on for this show. A very minimal security check and I was in at 6:35pm. My seat was one I paid a hefty price for, front row center section on the left side by the aisle. Mostly, I think my mic picked up the monitor sound and less the actual full 3D effect. Early on, the crowd was very polite but around Radioactivity, things began to change. There was one woman about 2-3 rows diaginally behind me who kept screaming "Alright!" during most of Radioactivity (she shut up afterwards). By the time Music Non Stop was in full effect, there were utter drunk (or perhaps stoned) numbskulls right in the aisle next to me dancing their heads off and in front of us paying customers of the front row. Thankfully, we were able to keep them back into the aisle without much trouble. After the Planet of Visions encore, one of those dumb women lept up onstage and tried to hug Ralf. She was stopped by a security guy but not before knocking off his headset mic. I was both pleased security didn't notice me taping (audio & video) but also annoyed that they didn't do a better job of keeping these idiots in their seats. Despite all that, I'm happy with how my recording turned out. I did some minor amplification where needed but pretty much, what you have is here is how it was recorded. If anyone wants to improve upon my recording, I can send you my master. Hope you all enjoy this!
P.S. I also recorded the full show in 1080p HD (remember my MoMA recordings?) and will be uploading that in the next future ;)
