Tape story:
The venue is a sport field in Perugia that during Umbria Jazz festival is radically transformed with a complete grass cover, a big stage and floor seats
Only the not numbered stairs (60-70 m from the stage) remind their original use. I had a place there but I preferred to stand at the highest level (7-8 stairs above floor level) in order to maintain adequate distance from the others
I was near the 3-D projectors, about 5 m off-center on the left (circa Ralf Hutter position)
The acoustic was not very good and the volume was poor and variable during the show.
A moderate wind (and my unprotected position) were probably partly responsible of the level fluctuations.
Wind gusts are audible during Computer World (2:32-2:34), Homecomputer (4:13-4:17), Computer Love (0:32-0:35/6:24-6:31), The Man-Machine (0:39-0:43), Spacelab (2:36-2:37) and Autobahn (0:32-0:33)
Some (distant) chatting throughout most of the recording... and despite all this things the recording is enjoyable

What about the show?
It was my second Kraftwerk show (the first was Verona 2016, also taped).
A classic "English-language" performance with some surprises: Trans Europe Express in German (but only the chorus, verses in English)
Also Homecomputer, The Man-Machine, Neon Lights and Techno Pop contain choruses and/or verses in German

Technical notes:
- The total running time of the recording was 2:27:45; I have cut the first 11:49 mins of pre-intro electronics and last useless 22 secs reducing the master to 2:15:34.
- I have amplified (+1.5 dB the right channel), manually "normalised" (see below) and slightly compressed (-12 dB/1.5:1) the whole recording and faded-out the last 10 secs.
- Manual "normalisation" was necessary because the volume from the PA system changed frequently (you can hear people often call for more volume). I used as a benchmark the recent official issue 3-D (The Catalogue)
boosting each single track between +5.0 dB (Music Non Stop) and +13.5 dB (Neon Lights)
- Also track segmentation and track names come from the official 3-D (Der Katalog/The Catalogue)
- If you burn to audio CD, you will need 2 CDs (CD1: 01-17; CD2: 18-35)
