*If You Like Jimi Hendrix, Download This Show And Listen To One Of The
Baddest Guitar Players Around...Truly Amazing !!!

I Was Fortunate Enough To Be At Almost Every Show Lance Did On The New York
Leg Of His Tour, I Was Also Able To Spend Time With These Guys On And Off The
Road Talking About Music Past And Present Among A Lot Of Other Things, But The
Things I Remember Most About These Guys Outside Of Being Great Musicians, They
Are Really Great Guys To Hang Out With.

Dallas Based Guitarist Lance Lopez Is One Bad Mother On Gutar, Sounding Like A
Combination Of Hendrix, Stevie Ray, Albert King, Freddie King, BB King All Wrapped
In One, He Plays Like A Man Posessed .

About The Show:

Lance Really Lucked Out Being Here On This Night As Local News Station Decided To
Come Out With Camera Crew And All, Suprised Lance With A Live Interview And Shot Some
Video Of The Show, And I Was There As This All Happened, How Lucky Can You Get.

The Show Started Off With Spanish Castle Magic, Gun's Blazing Lance Roared On This
For About 10 Minutes And Then He Launches Into Catfish Blues Digging Way Down For
Some Delta Blues, Then He Rip's Into Hendrix Flavored Blue Suede Shoes Which I Don't
Think I've Heard Anyone Play That Version Before.

Next, He Play's Another Rare Hendrix Classic, Can You See Me Brilliantly. After Doing
A Lance Lopez Song Move, He Plays The Blues Anthem Red House For Over 20 Minutes, What
Gets Me About This Cover Is He Changes Styles Throughout This Song Mixing It Up A Bit,
Keeping It Interesting To Say The Least.

They Say Some Of The Best Barbeque And Blues Comes Out Of Texas, Well I've Never Been
To Texas, But After Listening To The Next Two Lance Lopez Songs, El Paso Sugar And
She's The Devil I Know Now What They Mean As Lance Played Some Wicked Nasty Guitar Here.

Another Suprise This Night Was Hendrix Roomful Of Mirrors Played Ala Royal Albert Hall
Style , Then He Follows Up With Sunshine Of Your Love Like Jimi Used To Do It.

He Finishes Up The Show With Hendrix Favorite Foxey Lady, Doing Jimi Justice.

This Was Suppose To Be A Set Break, And A Warmup For The Band As They Were Just Starting
To Crank It Up But The Club Decided To Close Early , Lance Was Kinda Dissapointed As He
Was Saving The Best For Last With Some More Rare Hendrix Tunes, Another Time My Friends.

Excellant Performance And Recording Sounds Amazing As They Had A Great Soundman Here.
